SparkSwap 1.0 is now out, SparkPoint gives back, SRK new listing, new scholars for BDB, and so much more!

May has finally ended, but it ended with lots of bangs! As depicted on May 2021 Targets released a month ago, a blue symbol is slowly rising from the yellow-tinted planet. Metaphorically speaking, it is the SparkDeFi platform emerging from the sea of Binance Smart Chain based-dapps. The SparkDeFi-filled month of May has made everyone busy at SparkPoint, and with that, the team’s fruit of hard work has finally been released to the universe, starting with the official launch of SparkPoint’s DEX, SparkSwap. But the team has not stopped there. SparkPoint has made sure that it has all the fuel needed to make May so spectacular that it blasted off from where it was before.

1. SparkSwap 1.0 launched, alongside Analytics and Info Page

The most awaited launch of SparkDeFi’s flagship product and service has come. SparkSwap 1.0 was launched last May 10, 2021, alongside the Analytics and Info Page of SparkDeFi. 3. SparkSwap DEX has been listed to CoinMarketCap

Of course, for SparkSwap to be fully recognized as a decentralized exchange (DEX), it should get into the list of CoinMarketCap’s (CMC) list of recognized cryptocurrency exchanges. And yes, SparkSwap has finally made it to CMC. CoinMarketCap is the world’s most-referenced price-tracking website for crypto assets in the rapidly growing cryptocurrency space.

4. Added $100,000+ liquidity to BNB-BUSD pair, added $200,000+ liquidity to SRKb-SFUEL pair on SparkSwap

SparkPoint has poured in a lot of liquidity to SparkSwap last month. This month isn’t different at all. USD 300,000+ has been added to SparkSwap this May, with USD 100,00+ for the BNB/BUSD pair, and more than twice the amount for the SRKb/SFUEL pair. SparkSwap is surely heavily loaded with enough fuel for all your swapping of the major Binance-issued tokens and of course SparkPoint’s SRK and SFUEL.

5. SRK-ETH Liquidity Staking renewed, now on its 3rd Contract

Now on its 3rd iteration, SparkPoint has launched the 3rd contract of the SRK-ETH Liquidity Staking in which users can provide liquidity to the pair at Uniswap and earn UNI-V2 LP tokens and at the same time earn SRK rewards.

6. New SRKb and SFUEL pool-based staking launched

7. SparkPoint contributed 747,000 SRK to India’s Crypto Relief Fund

Due to the surge of COVID-19 cases and worsening health crisis in India, Sandeep, the co-founder of Polygon, initiated a campaign to ask help from the global crypto community to join forces in fighting the current pandemic situation in the country. As of today, USD 1,039,721,689.57 worth of cryptocurrency assets has been contributed by the global crypto community for the cause. The collected amount will be used to donate oxygen tanks, food, probably vaccines, and more to the COVID-19 stricken country.

8. SRK is now listed at CoinEx Exchange, USD 18,000 worth of SRK has been allocated for trading activities and rewards

SRK got another exchange listing! CoinEx Exchange is now part of the growing roster of exchanges where SRK is listed.

The listing was celebrated with trading events where traders can get a share from the USD 18,000 worth of SRK rewards pool. The trading events started on May 14, 2021, a day before the official announcement was made on May 15.

9. SparkPoint joined BlockTides for a live stream, gives back to Filipino supporters with PHP 50,000 worth of SRKb prize pool

On May 22, SparkPoint went live with BlockTides via a Facebook live stream. The team was represented by Carl Andre Bongalos, one of the company’s Senior Marketing Specialists, and Rico Zuñiga, the Chief Technology Officer. The duo has once again introduced SparkPoint to the Filipino community and gave updates on the company’s recent milestones and accomplishments since the SparkPoint project has begun. Drei and Rico also entertained some pressing questions about the impact made by the COVID-19 pandemic on the cryptocurrency industry and the current company-work setup. Some questions from the community were also answered by the two.

The team has allocated PHP 50,000 worth of SRKb for the rewards of the raffle winners.

10. SRK partners with Knit Finance to integrate SRK tokens into the multichain platform and enable staking

The team has announced its partnership with Knit Finance on May 25. The collaboration will integrate SparkPoint’s native token SRK into Knit Finance’s multi-chain platform by creating wrapped K-SRK tokens while providing staking service after launch with K-SRK or KFT token rewards. Once launched, the collaboration will allow Knit Finance to offer a staking service to users wherein one can stake K-SRK tokens and earn K-SRK or KFT token reward as APY.

Knit Finance is a unique decentralized protocol that integrates its wrapped protocol across multiple chains, bridges, and real-world markets with yield farming, lending, trading, and margin services through smart contracts.

11. SparkPoint Wallet version 6.4 has exited beta, BSC integration now available for the general public

The long-awaited Binance Smart Chain (BSC) integration has finally arrived in the in-house non-custodian wallet, the SparkPoint Wallet app. The wallet app version 6.4 that carries the BSC integration update has left the beta phase and is now available for everyone to download. The update is also slated to hit the iOS version of SparkPoint Wallet soon.

12. SparkLearn’s Blockchain Developer Bootcamp Scholars have been selected, student count now at 13

SparkPoint has selected the 1st ever batch of scholars for the Blockchain Developer Bootcamp that will happen this August 2021. As of writing, there are now 13 students registered to the bootcamp with only seven (7) slots remaining. Nine weeks are left before BDB begins!
